What does Europe mean to you? Do you share European values? Do you feel that you belong in Europe and feel connected to its cultural heritage? MEP Yana Toom Constituency Office offers you an opportunity to express your Europe-related thoughts and feelings through photography and invites you to participate in the photo contest “I am European”.
There are no strict requirements as to the genre of the photos, and neither are their technical parameters of great importance: participating photos can be taken with a professional camera as well as a mobile phone. The main criterion for participation is that the photos express the spirit, ideas, values and photographer´s feelings about Europe. There are no age restrictions for participants.
To participate in the contest, please upload your photos and contact details to the website on or before 30 April. Every participant may upload up to three photos in JPEG-format. The size of one photo should not exceed 3 megabytes and its side length 1024 pixels.
Three winners of the photo competition will receive a free trip to Brussels. A jury of professional photographers, including Olga Makina, Jelena Rudi and Stanislav Moškov, will choose two winners. The third prize will go the author of the photograph that will get the most likes from the visitors of yanatoom.ee website.
The names of the winners will be published on yanatoom.ee website on Europe Day, 9 May 2015. An exhibition of the best photos in this contest will be held on 11-17 May on the ground floor of Tallinn City Government (Vabaduse Square 7).
